Cheatoku (cheatoku.com) is a free browser puzzle game. This policy explains what happens with your information when you visit the site. The short version: we do not collect personal data.
1. Data we collect
None. Cheatoku runs entirely in your browser: no accounts, no forms, no cookies, and no analytics or tracking. Game progress lives only in your browser's memory and disappears when you close or reload the page — nothing is stored on your device or sent to a server.
2. Server and network logs
Like any website, Cheatoku is delivered by hosting and content-delivery infrastructure (including Cloudflare). To serve the page and protect the site against abuse, that infrastructure processes technical connection data such as your IP address and browser type transiently in server logs. This processing is based on the legitimate interest of delivering and securing the website (Art. 6(1)(f) UK GDPR and EU GDPR, where they apply). We do not use this data to identify visitors, build profiles, or for any other purpose.
3. Third-party services
The site embeds no third-party content: no external fonts, media, social buttons, or scripts. Only the hosting and delivery infrastructure described above is involved in serving the page.
4. Age requirement
Cheatoku is intended for users aged 18 or over. If you are under 18, please do not use the site. In any case, the site collects no personal data from anyone.
5. Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with data-protection rights, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is normally nothing for such a request to act on, but you can always contact us with questions, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
6. Changes to this policy
If the game ever changes in a way that affects your privacy (for example, adding accounts or saved progress), this policy will be updated before that change goes live, with a new effective date shown above.
